The works developed from an interest in the simplicity and aesthetic qualities of beads, along with wanting to explore the history of women’s weaving within indigenous folk crafts. The unusual color harmonies and intricate patterns are crafted by individually stitching beads onto a painted canvas or plain cotton linen fabric. This process results in a one-of-a-kind fragmented pattern.
